EFFORTS Member, Laurie Brinton,(above)has been appearing as a guest speaker for the
Westmoreland County Tobacco Free Coalition in Pennsylvania, helping with their tobacco prevention efforts
at local schools by sharing her story, discussing the dangers of tobacco use, and the difficulties of tobacco addiction.

A very powerful part of the program includes showing the students lungs. On the left is a pair of healthy lungs,
and at right you can see the diseased and cancerous lungs (on the right) from a 15 year pack history of smoking

The dispaly table featured demonstrations and posters.
